It will be nice to have some real journalism. I have always found your writing to be as objective as a human can be. I’d keep the offer going until the end of the month. Some of us less affluent ones need to wait for payday.
Good luck. In Manchester Joshi Herrmann's 'The Mill' has proved local journalism can be re-invented. Slightly surprised, though, that you didn't go the Substack route.
Jim had so many poor takes on the media he was reporting on, from ‘gossip’ to outright false information…will be interesting to see if he’s learned anything after so many years parroting the Grauniad party line.
Brilliant idea! I was a reporter on the Evening Standard years ago - when it was feted for its news coverage. The capital needs something like this.
Great stuff Jim, this is excellent and also bold.

Sounds good.
What do you call London. City? West End? Inside Noth and South Circulars, all London Boroughs?

Lots of luck Jim! 👍🏼
A great thing to Jim. It's really needed!
