A lot of people seem reluctant to put up posters nowadays. I've seen one Labour poster in my area and that's it. Though on leaflets, the Lib Dems are winning on 19 different ones, compared to a late surge from Labour on 11 and the Greens on 1, in Streatham South. The LDs have put a lot of effort in locally since Keith Hill MP announced his retirement.

I saw him on the street the other day.

I was a bit worried to see your report that Starmer had visited Hammersmith and Fulham - where the Labour council are doing a terrific job, and don’t need a visit from that unprincipled chancer to taint them with his deservedly poor reputation.

Fortunately the link you supplied:

refers to him visiting the borough in *2024*. Whew!

You have Croydon, Lewisham and Tower Hamlets twice. Friday afternoon or over the weekend?

Mayoral result separate to council results.

Never really sure how to judge political signs/posters. Think if you see multipe signs on a street, then that may indicate something. But less clear several window posters are quite the same unless almost every street or block has some.

On my street its 3-4 Lab (almost all of whom have done similar in previous elections), 2 Green and 1 LD. The ward is Labour held/Green fought. There are a lot more around this time than 2022 fwiw.

I was walking around the back streets this morning post dentist, to see what I could see and there was very little out in two safe Green and Lib Dem wards. So presumably neither is competitive - although one is St Leonards of Green being arrested fame.

In Hackney, the Greens have committed to rethinking locally hated LTN schemes (like Chatsworth Road) while Labour are keeping it schtum 🤯 did not expect the Greens to be this based. its going to be a BLOODBATH

Greens are saying whatever it takes to whomever asks.

Who should we be listening to then, Andrew?

By all means listen to the Greens, just be aware that how they govern in one place my be very different to another.

And now we've received a Royal Mail delivered leaflet from Labour, fronted by Mayor Khan.

The leaflet is generic and doesn't mention my ward so presumably will not count against Labour's electoral expenses in my ward.

Which seems a bit off really.
